Rosemary
Salon Director

Rosemary is a passionate hairstylist and the proud owner of D'or Hairstylists. With over 30 years of experience, she continues to find joy in creating beautiful hair and helping people feel great about themselves. Rosemary believes that transforming someone's appearance can have a positive impact on their lives, making them feel confident and beautiful. She particularly enjoys working with young minds as they inspire her to learn new techniques and constantly push herself to be excellent in her craft. Rosemary firmly believes in the importance of professional hair care and maintains strong trust in the brands she collaborates with.
In addition to her hairstyling expertise, Rosemary has a deep love for creating beautiful colours and seamless dimensions of colour. Whether it's adding natural highlights, creating stunning natural looks or achieving natural-looking balayage, she excels in bringing life and dimension to her client's hair. Rosemary's keen eye for colour and her artistic touch allows her to create personalized and eye-catching looks that perfectly complement her clients' features and individual styles.
With her passion for both styling and colouring, she strives to provide a complete and transformative experience for each person who sits in her chair. Family is of great significance to Rosemary, and she cherishes having her loved ones close by. She has two sons, two daughters-in-law, and two grandsons, as well as a very supportive husband. They all reside in a scenic mountainous region that experiences hot summers and cold winters. Rosemary takes advantage of this environment by going on thrilling adventures with her husband and friends on their electric bikes. Fitness is another passion for Rosemary. She actively engages in maintaining her physical well-being by attending classes five days a week. This dedication to fitness complements her active lifestyle and ensures she stays energized and ready to tackle any challenge that comes her way.
Kelsi
Advanced Stylist

Kelsi has been part of the D’OR story for many years and brings more than a decade of hairdressing experience with her.
A talented all-round stylist with a particular love of colour and balayage, Kelsi has now taken on an exciting new challenge and is studying law.
But she hasn’t completely put down the scissors!
You’ll still find Kelsi behind the chair at D’OR every second Friday, looking after her longstanding clients and keeping her hand in the hairdressing world.
We love that while Kelsi is building an exciting new career, she remains very much part of our D’OR family and continues to see clients at our Arrowtown hair salon.

Yamile
Advanced Stylist, Colour & Curl Specialist

Originally from Argentina, Yamile has around ten years of experience in the hairdressing industry and holds her New Zealand hairdressing qualification.
Colour is where Yamile really shines. She loves creating seamless, dimensional colour with those beautiful invisible lines — polished, expensive-looking hair that blends effortlessly and grows out beautifully.
Yamile is also one of our advanced curly-hair specialists. She has a real passion for understanding natural texture and creating shapes that work with each individual curl pattern.
And then there’s that laugh! Yamile’s gorgeous personality, infectious laugh and warmth have made her such a loved part of the D’OR family.
Based at D’OR Hairstylists in Arrowtown, Yamile welcomes clients from Queenstown, Wānaka and across the Wakatipu who are looking for expert colour and curly-hair services.

Maryke
Stylist & Creative Colourist

With seven years in the hairdressing industry, Maryke has a real passion for colour — especially when she gets the chance to be creative.
From beautiful seamless blondes to vibrant reds, blues and statement colours, Maryke loves pushing herself creatively and bringing something a little different to life.
She also has a real soft spot for her loyal, more mature clientele and loves the relationships that come from looking after someone and their hair year after year.
Originally from South Africa and now proud to have her New Zealand residency, Maryke is a real family girl with a big heart. Warm, creative and caring, she brings plenty of personality to the D’OR floor in our Arrowtown salon.

Marion
Advanced Stylist, French Balayage & Curl Specialist

Our French girl!
With more than 15 years in the hairdressing world, Marion brings a beautiful French approach to cutting, colour and styling.
She has become known at D’OR for her French painting and balayage techniques, creating soft, effortless colour with beautiful movement and dimension.
Marion is also one of our advanced curly-hair specialists and loves working with natural texture. From curls and chic short cuts to beautiful long hair, she is an incredibly versatile stylist who genuinely enjoys working with clients of all ages.
Creative, experienced and incredibly talented, Marion brings a little piece of French hairdressing magic to Arrowtown, Queenstown and the wider Wakatipu.

Keila
Emerging Stylist & Smoothing Specialist

Originally from Argentina, Keila has been part of the D’OR family for a couple of years and has become an incredibly valuable member of our salon floor.
As an emerging stylist, Keila works alongside our team applying colour and supporting the day-to-day flow of the salon, while continuing to develop her own skills behind the chair.
Her real specialty is smoothing. Keila loves our BKT and Cezanne treatments and the transformation that comes from creating beautifully smooth, glossy and manageable hair.
And when it comes to finishing? She loves a beautiful, big, bouncy blow wave.
Keila is dedicated to her craft and we’re excited to watch her continue to grow within the hairdressing world at our Arrowtown salon.

Khaleah
First Year Apprentice

Khaleah is one of our newest little pocket rockets!
Originally from the North Island, Khaleah moved south and joined the D’OR team at the beginning of 2026 to begin her hairdressing journey.
She’s energetic, dedicated and eager to learn — and already showing some beautiful skills with her blow waves.
She also gives a seriously good scalp massage!
Khaleah brings fun and energy to our Arrowtown salon environment, throws herself into learning and is always there supporting the team. We’re excited to see where the hairdressing world takes her.

Kyra
First Year Apprentice

Meet Kyra — another of our D’OR pocket rockets!
Kyra lives in Wānaka and has been part of the D’OR family since December 2025.
Full of energy and enthusiasm, she has a real passion for the hairdressing world and is already developing some exceptional skills — particularly when it comes to blow waving.
She also gives a fabulous scalp massage and loves being hands-on, learning from the team and building her skills every day.
We can’t wait to watch Kyra go ahead in leaps and bounds as part of our Arrowtown hairdressing team.

Esther

Esther is a very important part of our salon support team. She helps us get ready for the day, takes care of our towels, keeps our foils organised and makes sure the team is set up and ready to go.
But Esther has another very important role at D’OR…
Our unofficial Dance Director!
She’s the one who gets us moving, laughing and regularly appearing in dances on our Instagram page. Esther brings so much fun and personality to D’OR and is a very special part of our Arrowtown salon team.

Danni
Salon Co-Ordinator

A true Wakatipu local, Danni grew up right here in the basin and attended Wakatipu High School.
Danni is the friendly face at the front of D’OR, running our reception and helping to keep our busy Arrowtown salon organised.
From managing appointments and looking after bookings to coordinating what’s happening throughout the day, Danni keeps a lot of balls in the air — and somehow still manages to have a laugh while doing it!
Super organised, warm and a beautiful person to have around, Danni has become a wonderful addition to our D’OR family.
She’ll often be the first person you speak to and one of the first smiling faces you see when you walk through our doors in Arrowtown.
